 In May 2020, Luca’s mind was getting bored of the extensive lockdown and his hobbies drifted around, until it came to reminiscing about his fun summer adventures in Canada, when he started to wonder what life was like in the country to Canada’s south - the USA. It only took a few days for him to realize that the country was huge and not just in size and population, but also in diversity and lots of other things. There were so many states with different qualities to find out about and he knew that he wanted to share his love of the USA with other people. So he asked his dad for help and within a week, Luca was already collecting facts about the states that started with A and giving them each 5 facts about themselves. With the USA being one of the most world-known countries in the world, it was easy to find lots of facts to support his research.

 

The pictures took some more time as the facts had to include information that could be found in a picture (e.g. a fact about the One World Trade Center Tower in New York). Luca’s driving force behind this book was the fact that his younger bother had already published a book about Sharks and was very successful with it and he knew that making this book was the right fit for him. Luca hopes that you enjoy the book and he promises that you will learn way more than one thing after you’ve read it. Enjoy!
